Karpanai Collective is our art events arm - open mics, workshops and gatherings for the city's artists and storytellers. Most people in the room have no idea they're also funding a government-school classroom.
Karpanai Collective runs open mics, workshops and gatherings for Chennai's artists, writers, musicians and performers - the same creative energy we bring into classrooms, except here it's grown-ups taking the mic.
It was previously known as Pandorica's The Box. The name changed; the room full of people waiting their turn to perform did not.
60-70% of profits from every Karpanai Collective event go directly toward funding Karpanai Foundation's education programmes. Ticket sales, workshop fees, the odd merch table - all of it eventually turns into theatre scripts, open mics and books in a government-school classroom.
You don't have to donate to fund a child's classroom. You can just come watch a poetry slam.

Every seat at a Karpanai Collective event is, quietly, a seat funding a child's classroom too.
